Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 2026 · CORS (Compliance & Obligation Reminder System)
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between your Chartered Accountancy firm or corporate tax practice ("Firm", "You", or "User") and CORS Software Solutions Private Limited ("Company", "We", or "CORS"). By registering an account, accessing, or using the CORS (Compliance & Obligation Reminder System) software platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Professional Compliance & Practice Autonomy
CORS provides software infrastructure, tracking dashboards, notification automation (via BYOK / official gateways), and document collection tools to assist professional accounting and tax practitioners. The platform does not provide legal, statutory audit, or tax advisory services directly to taxpayers. You remain solely responsible for the review, verification, accuracy, and timely filing of all statutory returns (GST, Income Tax, MCA/ROC, TDS) prepared or submitted using data organized through the platform.
3. Account Security & Tenant Isolation
The application scopes workspace records by firm and applies role-based permissions. You agree to:
- Maintain confidentiality of firm login credentials, 2FA codes, and API keys.
- Ensure all staff members with delegated access are authorized employees or partners of your firm.
- Promptly revoke access for separated employees via the Staff Management settings.
- Take full responsibility for activities conducted under your firm’s tenant workspace.
4. Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) & Credential Vault
The platform can store credential fields for government portals and track DSC details entered by your firm. Credential fields are application-encrypted. Do not upload private cryptographic keys or share a token PIN unless your firm has determined it is appropriate to do so.
5. Subscriptions, Invoicing & Refund Policy
Available plans, limits, billing cycles, and applicable taxes are displayed during checkout. A receipt or invoice is provided for completed transactions where configured for the account.
Cancellation and billing requests: Contact billing support to request a cancellation or refund review. The team will confirm the applicable terms, any deductions, and expected processing time for the account. Read the cancellation and billing information for the request channel.
6. Messaging Fair Use & Anti-Spam Guidelines
Automated WhatsApp and Email reminders must be dispatched solely to your firm's verified clients for legitimate statutory compliance reminders and document requests. Sending unsolicited marketing blasts or spam is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate account suspension.
7. Data Ownership, Export & Termination
Your firm is responsible for the client information and documents it enters and remains responsible for its professional use. Export options are available for selected records and reports in the workspace. Contact support for account-level data requests. Retention and deletion timing depend on operational backups, provider schedules, and applicable obligations.
